US - ASEAN Special summit in Washington, DC

Over the years, the United States has constantly deepened its partnerships with Southeast Asia by providing more than $12.1 billion in development, economic, health, and security assistance to South Asia's partners since 2002. 

The United States and ASEAN will begin a new era of partnership with a guide to additional targets in the US Indo-Pacific Strategy and ASEAN Vision on the Indo-Pacific. Thereby, President Biden will announce initiatives worth more than $ 150 million that they expect to raise billions more from private funding, thereby deepening the US-ASEAN relation, striving for ASEAN to become the central and achieve the shared goals.
