Vietnam - Indonesia seek investment opportunity to boost electric vehicle industry
On September 4, 2023, ahead of the 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta, Prime Minister Chinh called on the governments of Vietnam and Indonesia to help businesses from both sides increase their investment in the other country.

Besides, the Indonesian leader also welcomed Vietnamese enterprises, including automaker VinFast – a member of private conglomerate Vingroup – to invest in Indonesia and boost cooperation in the development of renewable energy systems and the e-vehicle ecosystem.
