Compared with the same period last year, Vietnam's import and export turnover increased by more than 57 billion USD.
The total import-export turnover of the whole country in the first 7 months of the year reached 433.6 billion USD, an increase of 15.3% (≈ up 57.45 billion USD) over the same period in 2021. In the 7 months of 2022, Vietnam The South had a trade surplus of nearly 1.1 billion USD.
The export turnover of our country reached 217.34 billion USD, up 16.6% over the same period. The total export value of goods of the group of foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) reached nearly 159 billion USD, accounting for 73.2% of the country's total export turnover.
Especially, there are 5 export items of over 10 billion USD, accounting for 58.5% of total export turnover, including Electronics, computers, and components; Phones and components; Footwear; Garment textile; Machines, equipment, and spare parts.
On the other hand, the total import turnover of goods of the whole country reached 216.26 billion USD, an increase of 14% over the same period last year. The import value of FDI enterprises reached 140.26 billion USD, increasing by 14.3% and accounting for 64.9% of the total import value of the whole country.
