Environmental Protection Journey: InterLOG and Tree Planting Activities in An Giang
On June 12th, InterLOG had the honor of donating 2,500 green trees and an additional 20 million Vietnamese dong to care for trees in Chau Doc city, An Giang province.
In the increasingly complex context of climate change and weather patterns, the program "For a Green Vietnam" - with the goal of planting 1 billion green trees from 2021 to 2025, initiated by the Prime Minister, calls on organizations, associations, and businesses nationwide to contribute resources to plant 1 billion new green trees across the entire territory of Vietnam. InterLOG responded with a program "For 1 Billion Green Trees in Vietnam" promising to contribute significantly to the community. On June 12, 2023, InterLOG began by fundraising and donating 2,500 green trees along with 20 million dong to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Doc City from the UpRace 2 program launched in 2022. This event attracted over 200 delegates representing the local government of Chau Doc City, the Leadership Board, and all employees of InterLOG, creating a spread of positivity and active participation.

Notably, one of the most significant achievements of the "For 1 Billion Green Trees in Vietnam" project is the introduction of the UpRace walking fundraising program for Vietnam's green trees - where every kilometer walked contributes 3,000 VND to the Vietnam green tree fund. This initiative not only helps members stay healthy and boost immunity during the pandemic but also adds a cultural beauty to InterLOG. The incredible result was achieved as everyone covered a distance of 19,505 km - nearly 1.5 times the diameter of the Earth, consolidated by the efforts of over 195 InterLOG members in 26 days during the recent UpRace season, promising even more in the upcoming seasons!
