Central Vietnam is known as the "bridge" connecting the two regions of South and North. However, this place is facing many natural disasters such as storms, floods, flash floods and landslides. Although the Central people have constantly strived to overcome difficulties, their lives and production still face major challenges for sustainable development, posing a great demand for support and assistance from the community to overcome hardships and build a stronger future.
With the spirit of "treating people like their own," InterLOG joined hands with VLA and Saigon Port JSC to call on guests, members and sponsors to donate to the fund of the "Warm Tet in Central Vietnam - For our beloved Central Vietnam" program. After nearly one month of launching the program, the organizing committee received a total donation of VND126 million, equivalent to 500 gift packages to 500 poor households in Hoa Vang District (Da Nang), Nam Giang District (Quang Nam) and Ba To District (Quảng Ngai).
According to the plan and itinerary, on December 20, 2023, the InterLOG vehicle along with the volunteer delegation made its first stop in the journey of sharing love with the Central people, directly handing over 100 gift packages including essential items to 100 poor households of the Co Tu ethnic minority people in Gian Bi and Ta Lang villages, Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city.
After that, on December 21, 2023, InterLOG along with the volunteer delegation went to Cha Val commune, Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province to distribute 200 gift packages and essential items to needy households, along with words of encouragement and comfort, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity in overcoming difficulties.
At the final destination, on December 22, 2023, InterLOG along with the volunteer delegation went to Ba To district, Quang Ngai province to hand over the remaining 200 gift packages and essential items amidst the joy and gratitude of the local ethnic people, concluding the meaningful 3-day journey with abundant humanitarian values.
With the power of human kindness, continuing the fine traditions of the Vietnamese people, InterLOG and partner organizations had a very meaningful journey of "For Our Beloved Central Vietnam" that concluded well, although the delegation encountered some dangerous landslide-prone roads along the way, but could not stop the "Vietnamese hearts" with a shared spirit of saving the nation. This activity has increased community and social value, demonstrating InterLOG's responsibility and spirit through the sustainable development ESG model over many years.
