Foreign-invested enterprises strengthen their search for Vietnamese suppliers
Ho Chi Minh City's Dept. of Industry & Trade, with HEPZA and SHTP, hosted SFS 2023 to link buyers and suppliers.
The Supplier Finding Conference 2023 took place at Conference Center 272 over two days on August 24-25, 2023. This annual event attracted hundreds of domestic industrial support suppliers. The aim was to connect FDI enterprises with domestic industrial manufacturers focusing on localizing industrial support products, thereby integrating into the global supply chain.

SFS 2023 brought together over 20 FDI enterprises and industrial manufacturers acting as buyers such as Nidec Vietnam Co., Ltd., Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd., Sharp Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd., Bosch Vietnam Co., Ltd., etc. At this event, FDI enterprises updated market demands, new manufacturing technologies, and their new standards. Additionally, it was a good opportunity for buyers to engage with domestic enterprises for localization purposes, expanding the supply chain, and developing a global manufacturing chain.

At this event, International Freight Forwarding Joint Stock Company (InterLOG) partnered with Visa Alliance to connect FDI enterprises with domestic enterprises specializing in supplying components. This collaboration provided opportunities for industrial support enterprises to secure orders, increase production capacity, enhance skills, and gradually join the global supply chain. Previously, InterLOG, along with Visa Alliance, successfully connected many upstream enterprises, lead firms, and supporting industries.
