To support businesses in their green transition and contribute to Vietnam’s Net Zero commitment, VLA organized the seminar “Green Logistics – The Path to Sustainability”. This key event provided businesses with updates on sustainable logistics trends and served as a preparation for the FIATA World Congress 2025 (FWC2025), a premier global logistics event set to take place in Vietnam.
During the seminar, FIATA Director General Stéphane Graber emphasized the importance of carbon emission reduction in the logistics sector. Vietnam, having committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 at COP26, faces increasing sustainability requirements from major trade partners. He also highlighted the European Union’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) – a policy imposing carbon taxes on high-emission goods, which poses challenges for Vietnamese businesses in meeting sustainability standards.
As part of the event, InterLOG, a pioneering logistics company, signed a strategic partnership agreement with VLA to promote green initiatives in the industry. Additionally, InterLOG was honored to become a Silver Sponsor of FWC2025, actively supporting VLA in organizing this significant event.
2025 marks both the FIATA World Congress in Vietnam and InterLOG’s 20th anniversary, a crucial milestone for the company to solidify its leadership in green logistics while expanding partnerships with both local and international stakeholders to build a sustainable supply chain.
At the FIATA Road Show, Ms. Phạm Thị Tình, Commercial Director of InterLOG’s Hanoi Branch, participated in a panel discussion on "Reducing Emissions in Logistics: From Strategy to Practice". She emphasized that as a key link in the supply chain, logistics companies must adapt to green development trends.
InterLOG has implemented a green transition strategy based on three key pillars:
🔹 Raising Awareness on Green Transition: Since late 2022, InterLOG has focused on internal training, organizing seminars, and workshops to enhance understanding of green logistics.
🔹 Energy Transition: The company is adopting technology and exploring clean energy solutions to reduce emissions.
🔹 Production Management: InterLOG is accelerating digital transformation to minimize paperwork while advising customers on optimized routes and transport modes to cut carbon emissions.
With a clear strategy and practical actions, InterLOG is not only aiming for sustainable growth but also helping Vietnam’s logistics industry meet international standards, enhancing its global competitiveness in an increasingly interconnected world.
