The 9th term Congress (2024-2027) of the Vietnam Logistics Service Business Association (VLA) this year with the theme "Uniting Strength - Sustainable Development" took place against the backdrop of the strong development of the logistics industry in Vietnam and its significant contributions to the national economy.
This is a special event of VLA to report on the financial situation and summarize the 3-year journey (2021-2024) of the 8th term, while outlining the tasks for the upcoming 9th term (2024-2027). At the congress, representatives of member companies and government departments discussed and provided guiding perspectives on the future development of the Vietnam logistics service industry to keep pace and adapt to global industry trends.
At the congress, Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh, Chairman and CEO of InterLOG International Freight Forwarding Joint Stock Company, shared: “This year's congress with the theme 'Uniting Strength - Sustainable Development' is about forwarding companies uniting and working together to develop the logistics industry more sustainably in the new era. In particular, the global event FWC2025 in 2025 to be held in Hanoi will be a significant milestone. Companies promoting the event will not only help VLA and its forwarding company members consolidate their strength but also introduce Vietnam's culture, values, strengths, and position in the new era to countries and global partners.”
The congress also elected the Executive Committee of VLA for the 9th term (2024-2027) to continue developing and building a strong network of logistics companies in Vietnam. With the highest number of votes, Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh, Chairman and CEO of InterLOG, was elected as Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Logistics Service Business Association for the 9th term (2024-2027), continuing to contribute positively to the sustainable development of the logistics industry in Vietnam.
Furthermore, VLA awarded prizes to those who achieved awards in the "FIATA World Congress 2025 Theme Creation Contest" organized by the Vietnam Institute of Logistics Research and Development (VLI) recently. The special prize of the contest went to the young professionals from the International Business Development department of InterLOG with the theme "Developing green logistics and adapting quickly," which will be the main theme for the FIATA World Congress 2025 in Hanoi.
At the event, VLA also presented a commemorative medal to InterLOG, one of the exemplary members who have made valuable contributions to the industry community in the past 8th term. InterLOG is proud to be one of the most active members, participating in building and implementing activities of the association, and developing modern logistics services.
